hot tubs???? with my last two pregnancies, my doctor has told me im fine to go in hot tubs, as long as i dont stay in too long. im now seeing another doctor for my third, as i moved. he has just toldme im not allowed to go in hot tubs, never, not even for 5 minutes... why would he say this, but my other docs have told me its fine??? what are the risks if i were to go in for 5 min?

How do you get the scum out of hot tubs? My family has a 4-6 regular size hot tub out back and we used it once in a while. It was always tended to chemically and was regularly drained but theres this mold like algae growing inside of it. Especially around the top near the filter (probably because its stagnant over there). it keeps coming back although we have cleaned and drained it. having trouble removing the main power supply wires from my hot tubs control box where they plug into the circ? I have a hotspring sovereign 2004 hot tub and have to change the main power wiring from the house to the tub as my dog bit in to it. It is 120v circuit. My question is how do i release the wires going to the control box from there slot on the circuit board. Is there such as thing as clear or white algae growth in hot tubs? We recently purchased a hot tub and are having problems maintaining the ph balance. We can add chemicals to balance it and within a few days it is unbalanced again. There are small clearish/white particles floating in the water and once the filter became very full of a clear slime like substance. We have to rinse out the filter very frequently to keep down this slime growth. Is this a common problem and how do we fix it?
